Mandala in the Library

This series shows the gradual progress of a Buddhist Mandala being constructed by the monks from Drepung Loseling Phukhang Khangtsen. The painting is of “Avalokiteshvara”, which is said to represent great compassion. Shot in the RISD Fleet Library during the week of March 4th, 2024.
